New Features

Harrison Double Fog Preset

A new preset inspired by classic double fog diffusion has been added, providing a softer halation profile and richer highlight bloom.

DigiDiff Rental Licenses

DigiDiff now offers temporary rental licenses for short term use. These provide an affordable, single seat option for productions and users who need DigiDiff for a limited duration without committing to a perpetual license.

Improvements

Faster Project Startup

Projects containing multiple DigiDiff instances will now open significantly faster. We have optimized initialization code to reduce load times and improve responsiveness.

Updated Watermark

We have replaced the previous watermark with a cleaner, higher quality version that is easier on the eye when DigiDiff is in demo or expired rental mode.

Multi GPU Support for Windows

Windows users can now take advantage of multiple GPUs for improved stability and performance in systems that utilize more than one GPU.

Improved Diffusion Quality on Windows

We have enhanced edge case diffusion handling on Windows systems, resulting in more consistent and higher quality bloom across a wider range of footage.

Introducing DigiDiff Rental Licenses

We have heard from many users and productions that not every workflow requires a perpetual DigiDiff license. Some teams want a lower cost entry point, some want to test DigiDiff on a specific project before committing long term, and others simply do not need a full perpetual license for their production schedule. To address these circumstances, and to avoid moving toward a subscription model, we are introducing short term rental licenses.

What is a rental license?

A rental license is a one time purchase that provides temporary access to DigiDiff. The rental period begins when you activate the license, and once that time expires, the license will automatically deactivate. This is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges. If you need additional time, you can choose to purchase another rental license at your discretion.

Key details

  • Rental licenses are one time purchases.
  • Each rental license includes one seat.
  • Perpetual licenses continue to include two seats.
  • 14 day rental: 19.99
  • 30 day rental: 39.99

Who is this for?

Rental licenses are designed for two primary use cases:
  1. Productions and post houses that need to equip multiple editors or colorists with DigiDiff at a lower upfront cost for the duration of a project.
  2. Users who want to use DigiDiff on a specific job but are not yet ready to commit to a perpetual license.
We will continue monitoring feedback and will make adjustments as needed. Our goal is to make DigiDiff more accessible while allowing users and productions to control when and how they spend their money. We hope these new rental options provide the flexibility many of you have asked for.
