Huge Update: DigiDiff v2.0 is Here!

We’re incredibly excited to announce the release of DigiDiff v2.0, our biggest update yet—and one that brings DigiDiff closer than ever to the original vision behind the tool.

From day one, DigiDiff was designed to be more than just a digital diffusion effect. We wanted it to be a fully customizable tool that empowers cinematographers, colorists, and post-production artists to create nuanced, realistic diffusion with precision and ease. With v2.0, we feel we’ve taken a massive step toward realizing that vision.

✨ Introducing DiffDesigner™

At the heart of v2.0 is the DiffDesigner, a brand new system that gives you full control over your diffusion. Create your own custom diffusion profiles by tuning:

• Core – Controls intense glow at the center of highlights

• Body – Defines the mid-radius glow

• Falloff – Shapes how the diffusion rolls off 

Each section is fully adjustable, giving you unprecedented creative control.

🎛️ Re-Engineered Parameters for Higher Quality

We completely reworked two foundational parameters:

• Overall Size 

• Overall Strength

🎞️ 8 Built-In Diffusion Presets

We’ve added 8 system presets that emulate popular diffusion filters with more coming in future updates:

• Black Pro Mist

• Glimmer Glass

• Black Satin

• SoftFX

• Pearlescent

• Radiant

• Grunge

• Dream Sequence

💾 Save and Manage Custom Presets

You can now save your custom profiles as presets, update them, or delete them as needed—making it easier than ever to build your own library of looks.

🔧 Additional Improvements

• Resolution Independence – Diffusion size now stays consistent across timeline resolutions, giving you the flexibility to optimize performance during grading without sacrificing look consistency.

• Canon Log 2 Fix

• MacOS 13.0+ Support
