Common issues and solutions

My Intel mac displays playback glitches. Why is that?

Currently, Intel-based Macs with a single active GPU are supported. Systems with both a discrete and integrated GPU are compatible; however, configurations using multiple GPUs connected via Appleʼs Infinity Fabric Link are not currently supported. To run DigiDiff on these machines, youʼll need to manually select a single GPU within DaVinci Resolveʼs preferences instead of using the “Autoˮ GPU selection mode.

*DigiDiff supports Intel-based Macs; however, this is considered legacy support. As Apple transitions fully to Apple Silicon, Intel-based Macs are gradually being phased out of official support. Apple Silicon machines offer significant performance advantages, and we recommend them for the best DigiDiff experience.

White screen when using DigiDiff

This issue can be caused by outdated graphics drivers or incorrect GPU processing modes. To resolve it:

Windows users: Update your NVIDIA drivers to the latest version. Be sure that 'CUDA' is selected as the GPU processing mode within Resolve's preferences. OpenCL is not supported.

MacOS users: Upgrade to MacOS 11.0 or later. Be sure that 'Metal' is selected as the GPU processing mode within Resolve's preferences. OpenCL is not supported.

If you are still experiencing a white screen, deactivate DigiDiff. Then close and re-open Resolve and re-register DigiDiff with your license code.

DigiDiff still on demo mode even after sucessfully adding license code

This occurs when multiple instances of DigiDiff are running in demo mode within your project, but only one has been registered. To apply the registration across all instances, simply restart DaVinci Resolve.

DigiDiff says I have no more activations

Need to reset your activations? Email support@kromatica.co with your order number, and we'll reset your license. This will free up your two seats by deactivating DigiDiff across all systems.
